For the full bridal effect, I decided to use airbrush makeup for the shoot. It was almost like a bridal makeup trial where we discussed what type of look they wanted. Let me describe what I did for each of these lovely ladies.
For Karen, I did a matte brown smokey eye paired with an awesome pair of falsies to open up the eye and a nudey/pinky/corally lip with a sheen. On her cheeks, I chose a colour the same hue as her lips and brushed that over the tops and apples of her cheeks, then blended out towards the hair.
For Luane, I went with a wash of gold over her lids, her crease defined with a matte brown. Again, paired that look with some great falsies. For her lips, we started with nude then changed to a deeper pink to add a little something to the overall look.
For Xandra, I chose to go with a winged liner and a defined crease. And of course, falsies. Since her eye look was so defined, I softened the rest of the makeup and made sure everything was well blended in together.
Pat Dy's photos are, of course, amazing. But just so you can see the nice effect the airbrush has with a regular camera (and a not-pro-photographer without pro lights), I took some with my Fujifilm X-E2.
